[Abk. für Central Processing Unit Card, dt. »Karte der Zentralprozessoreinheit «]Steckkarte mit einer CPU (Prozessor), die in einen speziellen Steckplatz gesetzt wird. Solche CPU-Cards werden vor allem benutzt, um bestimmte Computer zu Doppel- oder zu Mehrprozessorsystemen auszubauen. Beispielsweise können im RS/6000 SP von IBM zahlreiche CPU-Cards benutzt werden.
 
Als CPU-Card wird auch ein Adapter in Form einer Steckkarte bezeichnet. Ein solcher Adapter erlaubt es, einen Sockelprozessor (etwa: PPGA) in einen Prozessorsteckplatz (etwa: Sockel 1) zu setzen.
